How to import a PDF schedule into Google Calendar
A PDF is useful for sharing a timetable, but it is difficult to search or update. Convert it into a standard ICS file first, then import the events into your preferred calendar app.
1. Upload the schedule
Open Alfova and upload a readable PDF, screenshot, or photo. A PDF can contain up to five pages and the upload limit is 10 MB.
2. Review every event
Check the event title, date, start time, end time, location, and time zone. Correct any ambiguous or missing details before exporting.
3. Download the ICS file
Alfova creates one standard ICS file. The file can be imported into Google Calendar, Apple Calendar, Outlook, and most calendar applications. You can open an ICS file locally with Alfova's ICS viewer before importing it.
4. Import into Google Calendar
In Google Calendar, open Settings, choose Import & export, select the ICS file, then choose the destination calendar. Review the imported events once more.
